To do this we will answer the main questions that are usually asked about each breed and tell you a little bit about who we are and what we believe is important when breeding and showing these delightful little dogs.

Firstly you need to know that we have been members of the South Australian Canine Association (S.A.C.A.), since 1992. This is a very important credential to look for when choosing a puppy or older dog as we believe it designates the reliability of the quality and the reputation of the breeder from whom you are purchasing.

As S.A.C.A. members we are bound by their strict rules and constitution to ensure that you the consumers get the best experience from owning your new family member.

One important rule that they have established is that we may not sell any puppy before it is eight calendar weeks old and has been vaccinated at six weeks of age. This is stipulated so that the vaccination has had two weeks to begin protecting your puppy.

There are many “breeders” who sell “purebred” or “pedigree” pups that are NOT an S.A.C.A. member . While they may have obtained their own dog/s from a registered breeder, UNLESS THEY ARE MEMBERS and have pedigree papers issued by a canine controling body such as the South Australian Canine Association, in their name the puppies cannot be called purebred or pedigree.

The S.A.C.A & A.N.K.C. take precedence over any individual breed clubs that exist.
